Hadthis ‘ Vehicle Lean when cornering’ on my 2010 Range Rover sport 5.0 for 2 years - always appeared when outside temp below 16 degrees C .. drove me nuts - Land Rover spent thousands of pounds replacing the dynamic control system and loads of other stuff which the car computer fault coded - still had the problem .. then I had a Gasfill problem. So I take my '14 v8 to the gas station for a fill, start the gas pump, and go inside the station to grab a drink. Come out, not looking, and drive off. Seconds later, I realize that the tank isn't full. The next day, I go to fill up again and actually wait there to see if my tank fills. Sure enough, after a few gallons, the 95posts · Joined 2004. #1 · Feb 11, 2005 (Edited) Idle control valve (idle stepper motor) is certainly something anyone running Rovers (aka Rangies) should know about. It sets idle speed and is controlled electronically. The engine electronics (ECU) sends pulses to the valve which allows air to "bypass" the trottle plate. 1 · Apr 4, 2017. Thinking about purchasing a 2014 RR Sport HSE V6 with 60,000 miles. Never had any brakes replaced, just got new tires on it, and hasn't had any 2014Sport GEAR BOX FAILURE. Curious if anyone else is seeing gearbox failure issues with the 2014 Sport. Basically I have had the vehicle lock in drive which Hereit is. Ran the RSW software and found out I do. in fact have 2 separate issues. 1st is the fuel level sensor circuit. There’s a TSB for it to replace the connector and splice the wires together at the top of the fuel tank. EmergencyBrake Assist not available. ABS fault. Stability Control not available. IES System not available. Park Brake fault. Plus the driver side headlight has been intermittent, sometimes 1 clean the intake manifold with oven cleaning spray (ive done it before with just brake cleaner but wasnt enough, I think I need to really brush it) 2. check DEF injector and clean. 3. check with the newly acquired Autel MaxiCOM if there are any problems with the EGR. If so, get to valve and clean. wUAK.
